Yolanda is a dynamic filmmaker from Raleigh, North Carolina, dedicated to creating bold, impactful stories that inspire young people to embrace their creativity and individuality. Her mission is to tell stories that leave a lasting imprint on culture and empower the next generation of dreamers and doers.
A graduate of the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, Yolanda began her career in the animation industry, specializing in writing and production for television. She has contributed to acclaimed animated series with industry giants such as Disney Television Animation and 20th Century Animation. Her credits include The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, King of the Hill, and Hailey’s On It!
Yolanda’s films have been recognized by the Pan African Film Festival, LA Animation Film Festival, and many others, further cementing her place as a rising voice in animation and narrative storytelling.
Currently, she is writing a feature film with Color Creative, continuing her commitment to telling fresh, authentic stories that uplift and inspire.
